Director of Development

University Relations is hiring a Director of Development! This is a career position available at 100% time, eligible for Full University Benefits:

The campus seeks an experienced, highly motivated fundraising professional to serve as Director of Development. Under the direction of the Director of Major Gifts and in consultation with the Divisional Dean, the Director of Development plans strategically, develops, coordinates, and implements a major donor fund-raising program to secure and increase philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and foundations for the academic priorities of the division and campus as determined by the Divisional Dean and the Associate Vice Chancellor, Strategic Philanthropy. 

The Director's major responsibilities will include managing the university's relationship with current divisional donors and prospective donors who give or are capable of giving at the $100,000 level or above. The Director will prepare a strategic plan to develop and implement all components of a major gifts program with specific emphasis on initiating a plan for divisional development to identify and qualify new prospects.
